Hi, I’m Dr. Jesse Mills. I’m glad you’re here.
For over two decades, I’ve devoted my medical practice to helping men live and stay well.
I believe that good health is about making smart choices. That starts with being informed. My medical advice is rooted in simple and straightforward science, and always delivered judgement free.
Dr. Jesse Mills is a board-certified urologist and a fellowship-trained male reproductive surgeon.
After completing his medical and surgical training, Dr. Mills founded the first comprehensive men’s clinic in Colorado, The Center for Men’s Health at The Urology Center of Colorado. In 2016, he founded the Men’s Clinic at UCLA, where he continues to serve as director. Dr. Mills also serves as the fellowship director of the UCLA male reproductive medicine and surgery program, where he helps train the next generation of surgeons, and as director of UCLA Urology Santa Monica.
Dr. Mills sees thousands of patients each year for a range of conditions such as low testosterone, sexual and ejaculatory dysfunction, male fertility and Peyronie’s disease. He has performed thousands of penile implants, vasectomy reversals, varicocelectomy and complex Peyronie's disease surgeries and Xiaflex injections. Dr. Mills has a special interest in restoring fertility and sexual function in men with spinal cord injuries. At UCLA, he also leads fertility preservation in the gender health, adult and adolescent oncology programs. He serves as a medical consultant for several Los Angeles professional sports teams, including the Chargers, Dodgers and Lakers.
Dr. Mills has decades of experience writing the literature in men’s health and has authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters. He is the best-selling author of A Field Guide to Men’s Health. Dr. Mills is also a frequent presenter at national and international conferences. He is recognized as an international thought leader in men’s health and sexual and reproductive medicine.
I love playing in the dirt: landscaping and planting bushes and trees. I'm currently cultivating a 13-tree citrus grove.
I have a cup of coffee every day at 3 o'clock. I drink from a personalized coffee mug my former fellows got me, which says, “It’s 3 o’clock somewhere.”
I have 2 standard poodles, Bert and Ernie, who could be service dogs if they weren’t such enthusiastic athletes and shameless seekers of affection.
I split my fitness goals between running 5 hour marathons and benching 300 pounds but never both in the same calendar year.
My favorite restaurant is staying home and cooking with my wife and, if they’re in town, my sons and their families.
